I’ve been in the pursuit of freedom my entire life and half the time I didn’t know it. I’ve chosen to live my life in a way that brings me joy and challenges the convention. This has meant living in duality that often causes disharmony yet growth and not limiting myself to processing concepts with the depth of the ocean or the superficiality of the latest trends. I choose to live my life in a holistically creative way that honors my purpose and pain. Here, I share written and oral stories because our individual lenses are important and meaningful and ever-changing.

I’d like to think that I’ve had an adventurous life because my purpose is tied to sharing the lessons I’ve learned from my experiences. After graduating with a degree in English Literature and a Discipline Specific Writing Certification, I became fascinated by storytelling —both on the page and orally. Currently, I am working on an MFA in creative writing, and participating in storytelling workshops with the desire to refine my skills.
My fictional short stories are ones that are both entertaining and thoughtful. These multi-layered relational narrations expose the human condition and the contradictory nature of life.
An Elephant’s Tale is a non-fiction storytelling podcast that highlights the interesting and eccentric lives of people who consider themselves different. The first four episodes are an introspective and self-reflective dive into my history and then I hand the mic over to my guests to share their experiences and insightful wisdom.
I capture visuals of everyday life and beautiful sights and share my perspective on why the moment should never cease. Pictures and words do that—make us and things immortal and timeless.
Today, I spend my time writing stories, using my voice, choosing kindness, and engaging with people that are finding their way to peace. I enjoy being outside, moving my body, and eating foods that titillate my tastebuds.
My vision is to explore points of commonality between us while honoring the brilliance in individuality and autonomy.
